Hello and welcome to my website.
Over the past 45 years I have served in many capacities in order to leave South Carolina
better than when I found it. After spending time in the US Army, the South Carolina
Department of Heath and Environmental Control, the Environmental Protection Agency
(EPA) and in private practice, I feel it is time to return to public service to ensure that all
South Carolinians have a voice in Washington.
My family has lived in the 4th District for more than 250 years. I am truly a native of this
land and as such I feel a duty to protect its residents. We must remind Washington that
the people do not work for the government, rather the government works for us. If
elected, I promise to do just that.
I encourage each of you to go through this website to learn more about me, my family
and how I will represent you in the halls of Congress. The pages in this website will give
you a feel for me and what I plan on accomplishing as I work for you.
In my opinion the most important trait of any elected official is to listen to its
constituents. That is my pledge to you. I look forward to working for you.
